Abstract:With the specialized supply chain nodes distributed around the world, supply chain managers increasingly focusing on lean management, numerous internal and external uncertainties of supply chain coupled with natural disasters and other emergencies events occuring frequently, supply chain is becoming increasingly vulnerable, having to deal with enormous challenges of supply disruptions. Therefore, the research on supply chain resilience would be significant to prevent and respond to supply disturbs, and secure the stable operation environment of supply chain.The paper reviews relevant domestic and international literatures, elaborating the background, content and strategies of supply chain resilience, introducing supply chain vulnerability, supply chain resilience, supply chain risk management and complex networks systematically. Two supply chain resilient strategies, the prevention strategies and response strategies, are proposed to cope with the possible supply disturbs. The issue of supply chain network nodes importance evaluation is studied, as a consequence an improved social network analysis method and an improved scientific analysis method is put forward based on the complex network nodes importance identification. Both methods are compared and analysed by numerical examples. In addition a combinatorial optimization model is established for the rapid recovery after the supply disruption. The model is solved by means of genetic algorithm and numerical results show that the methods provides quick decision support for enterprises to recovery after supply disruptions.
