Red China is the organ of the temporary central government of the Chinese Soviet Republic, and is the most representative newspaper. It is an instrument that can supervise the Soviet Government in all parts of Central Soviet rectifying our shortcomings and correcting our mistakes in the work. Based on the essential theory of history and journalism & communication, this paper probes the achievement of the newspaper's supervision by public opinion. The paper includes five chapters.Part 1, gave an outline of meanings of study, primary coverage, significant innovations and research approach. Part 2, makes definition of public opinion and supervision by public opinion, and analyze the characteristics and functions of supervision by public opinion. Its purpose is to set the stage for the latter chapters. Part 3, makes clear the developing course of the newspaper and analyzes the oriented problem of supervision by public opinion. It includes functional localization and some establishment of columns. Part 4, summarizes the main content about criticism by the press. It includes corruption and degeneration, extravagant and wasteful, performing one's duty in a perfunctory manner, negative representation, paying little regard to the cultural, anti-education, feodal custom and Superstition. Part 5, analyzes the traits of supervision by public opinion about Red China, which is to supervise aiming at reality and make a equal discourse apace between media and audiences.
