Harrington presents a numerical method to calculate the electromagnetic field boundary value very effective in the book "Calculation Electromagnetic Fields based on Method of Moments ", that is, Method of Moments. This method is mainly responsible for discreting the integral equations into a number of algebraic equations, and then using a computer to solve. While the number of unknowns is not many, Moment of Method shows the accuracy of calculations. But when the matrix demanded for solution is too large, taking up too much memory, the computing speed limited have been received. In recent years, the emergence of various methods to accelerate calculation of method of moments, there are pairs of methods about matrix compression and preconditioning; there are pairs of methods to improve acceleration of solution equation matrix; and study of improvement on base function and the trial function, in this article we adopt a more appropriate basis functions:RWG basis function, the above methods have advantages and disadvantages of themselves.This paper starts with describeing the basic principles of moment of method and the basic steps to solve the problem, then discusses the method of moments in-line antenna and scattering applications. In the process of calculating the coupling of wire antennas, based on RWG Basis Moment of Method shows its accuracy. In this article, the calculation of mutual impedance, it has introduced the definition of Hui impedance. Its definition is very simple, but while using Moment of Method,it has practical significance to counte the load into impedance matri x.In the final part of the text, we consider the simple form of the impact from ship platform to the antenna, grounding a single-stage sub-surface radiation pattern. Although the difference between the model and the actual environment of the larger ship, but in theory, we also take into account the ground impact to the distribution of currents in the antenna. GTD, while dealing with electrically large objects, the basic idea is also reflected in solving the electric field in a single-stage docking antenna on the ground. Follow-up also introduced the hybrid method, it increases the efficiency of matrix operations about the metal surface wire antenna problems.
