A Study On Deng Yingchao's Thought About Women's Political Participation

As a forerunner in women's liberation movement in China, Deng Yingchao had shown solicitude for emancipation of women, and had impelled Chinese women to participate in government and political affairs actively. During leading Chinese women's liberation movement, Deng Yingchao had accumulated rich theories about emancipating women which had formed Deng Yingchao's distinctive viewpoints about women participating in government and political affairs. Under the instruction of her thought, the level that Chinese women participating in government and political affairs once had established a new height in history, even women's political status had enhanced unprecedentedly. Through analyzing Yingchao's thought about women's political participation, the article is for the purpose of improving the level that Chinese women participating in government and political affairs and providing ideological materials to impel the cause of emancipating women with Chinese characteristics.Women's political participation that being studied weakly in educational circles is the important part of Deng Yingchao's thought about emancipation of women. It is a new attempt to carry on Deng Yingchao's thought about emancipation of women systematically.Based on collecting relative historical materials, taking historical materialism as guiding ideology and applying synthetically various research method and means as to political science, sociology, female science, etc. its formation, development, contents, features, meanings of Deng Yingchao's thought about emancipation of women have been discussed and researched systematically.From Deng Yingchao's times, family background, life experiences, this article has analyzed its times backgrounds, development stages, main contents, features, meanings of Deng Yingchao's thought about women's political participation .In the article, Deng Yingchao's thought about women's political participation is the result of combining Marxism on emancipation of women and Chinese concrete reality. As thought weapon and action guide for emancipation and suffrage of Chinese women, her thought is of the importance to enhance Party's leading women woke at present stage, to improve the level of Chinese women participating in government and political affairs, to implement basic state policy that conforming to the equality of the sexes, and to promote emancipation of women.
