| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xiaosuping Tablet on bronchial asthma and to explore it's possible mechanism at a molecular level.Methods:60 patients of bronchial asthma were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group treated by Xiaosuping Tablet, and the control group treated by Juanxiao Tablet respectively.The changes on symptomatic signs of asthma,pulmonary function,serum IgE, serum IL-4,and IFN-γwere observed before and after treatment.Results:There is significant difference in clinical effect between the two groups(P<0.05).There is significant difference in symptomatic signs between the two groups (P<0.05).The pulmonary function is improved apparently in the treatment group compared with the control group (P<0.05).No significant difference is found between the two groups in IL-4 and the discreaselevel of the serum IgE,the increase level of IFN-γis up-regulated apparently in the treatment group compared with the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Xiaosuping Tablet is superior to Juanxiao Tablet in clinical effect in treating mild and middle acute attack of bronchial asthma.2. Xiaosuping Tablet can improve pulmonary function and down-regulate the serum IgE level, and has the function of relieving asthma and inhibiting immunization.3.Xiaosuping Tablet can signifficantly improve the level of serum EFN-γ,down-regulate the level of serum IL-4, regulate Thl/Th2,and relieve the chronic inflammation, thus relieve hyperactivity of the airway.4. The possible mechanism of Xiaosuping Tablet in treating bronchial asthma is explored in this research. It provides theoretical base for treating bronchial asthma. |
