Object:To observe the protective effects of Ginseng which is a herb of Yangxin decoction on human umbilical vein endothelial cell injured by H2O2,this study investigated the possible mechanism to provide the basis for Yangxin granule.Methods: (1)The 20 rats were divided into Ginseng group and blank group randomly.Drug the rats in Ginseng group and give the same volume of water then takeblood , separate the serum.(2)Make the serum into medium for differente density such as 2%,4%,6%.The cells model is made which is injured by H2O2. Then train the cells with normal medium.(3)Observe the changes of cells in activity and calculate the rate of cell proliferation using MTT assay.Determine the safe and effective drug concentration.Results: 1.Compared with the blank serum group, the activity is higher significantly in model group( P<0.01) ;2.Ginseng serum has a significantly protective effect on endothelial cells.Thereis no significant difference bettween 2% and 4% group( P>0.05).The value is higher in 6% group than other two groups(P<0.01) .3.Compared with the modelgroup,there is a significant difference in 2% group,4% group and 6% group especially in 6% group .Conclusion: Ginseng serum has a significantly protective effect on human umbilical vein endothelial cell.The cell activity increase with the density.The drug may inhibite the development of UA by protecting and proliferating human umbilical vein endothelial cell.That is beacause the drge may have the antioxidant effect.
