As a widely used material antiparasite medicine in aquaculture, Avermectin has certain toxic effects. In order to study on the Avermectins toxicological effect to the Yellow River carp and choose the evaluation indexes of water environment pollution, this study was carried out, inculding acute toxicity experiment and infection experiment. The indicators of antioxidant system and the activity of Na+-K+-ATPase were determined by chemical analytical methods. The Semi-lethal concentration of 96 hours was 10×10-3ppm and the safe concentration is 10×10-4ppm, under the condition of 15℃. The Yellow River carp were exposed to the aqueous solution of different Avermectin concentrations such as 0 , 1.5×10-4, 5×10-4, 10×10-4, 25×10-4, 50×10-4ppm and so on after different times such as 24, 72, 120 and 168 hours. The results showed, the SOD activitives of the tissues such as gill, liver pancreas and kidney in treatment groups were higher than those in the control group, but the difference was not significant. In addition to the high concentration group (50×10-4ppm), with the extension of exposure time, the CAT activitives in the three organizations showed the trend of increasing at first, then decreasing in other treatment groups. And with the extension of exposure time, the CAT activitives were some extent lower, but it was no significant difference compared with the control group(p>0.05). Under the Avermectin influence in low concentrations, the GPX activitives of the three tissues were the activated status. But the GPX activitives of the high concentration group were inhibited, and this inhibitory effect had been strengthened with the extension of exposure time. In addition to those in the high concentration group (50×10-4ppm), the T-AOCs of the tissues such as gill and kidney in other treatment groups were higher than those in the control group, but the difference was not significant. And exposed to the concentrations of 5×10-4, 10×10-4 and 25×10-4ppm, the T-AOCs of liver pancreas were significant(P<0.05). The change of the Na+-K+-ATPase activities of the there tissues showed that, the Na+-K+-ATPase activities of the there tissues were activated status under the Avermectin influence in low concentrations, but inhibited in high concentrations, the inhibitory effects were more and more stronger with the extension of exposure time. At the same time The Na+-K+-ATPase activities of the Yellow River carp gill tissue were the most sensitive to Avermectins. Avermectins had certain toxicity to the Yellow River carp, but the toxicity was low. Avermectins toxicological mechanisms were mainly that it effected the activities of Na+-K+-ATPase and GPX in gill and the T-AOCs in hepatopancreas. the activities of Na+-K+-ATPase and GPX in gill and the T-AOCs in hepatopancreas might be the evaluation indexes of measure Avermectins toxicity...
