Recently, the development of National Missile Defense (NMD) system of America makes a great challenge to our strategic nuke's overawing degree, especially the extra-atmosphere Mid-course Defense system. As one of the effective way of dealing with Extra-atmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) which destroys opponents by hit-to-kill, extra-atmosphere evasive maneuvering technique has becoming nation's main strategic preliminary research. After introducing the background and recent study status of the topic from the two aspects of missile defense and penetration technology, as the key problem of the technique, Intelligent Evasive Strategy is studied in the paper, including main contents as follows:Firstly, the performance parameters of attacking missile and EKV are analyzed. And the noise producing algorithm is studied to imitate the function of inspectors. Then, the start conditions of simulation are listed and a six-degree of freedom dynamics and kinematics model of the attacking side is established.Secondly, the Intelligent Evasive Strategy is researched, including maneuver mode, maneuver moment and maneuver orientation. An attitude search algorithm is proposed to decide maneuver orientation, which is based on maximizing the overloading needed by EKV (beyond its available overloading). Besides being able to evasive interception, the strategy is required to satisfy those as follows:(1) Except performance of the missile itself, maneuver mode has nothing to do with any other factors.(2) Maneuver moment and maneuver orientation depend on flight information of EKV.(3) The strategy should have a good performance of robustness.As for correcting ballistic trajectory after maneuvering, fixed-time regression method is adapted to work out the ellipse orbit between the start and final regression point. Then give the missile an instantaneous impulse separately on the two points to make it change its orbit and return to the origin orbit before going back to the atmosphere. So to make sure the warhead hit the scheduled object accurately.Finally, an attack-defense combat simulation system is developed to check the feasibility and correctness of the strategy proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the Intelligent Evasive Strategy is quite self-adaptive and has a good characteristic of robustness to ensure the missile to evasive interception successfully.
