The high attack angle test technique is a special method used to study the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft which is in super high attack angle and yawing angle in wind tunnel. The high attack angle rig is the core device of this technique. The electronic components of its control system is aging and the reliability is falling, it has not satisfied our customers established new requirements, so it is urgent to develop a new control system.This paper presents the research and development situation of the high attack angle technique at home and abroad, describes the importance and urgency for developing the new control system, analyses constitutes and function of the mechanism, combines with development trend of electromechanical, presents project of AC servo position control system . The core parts of control system consists of IPC, DMC motion card, AC servo motor and AC servo driver. The paper analyses AC servo system and its dynamic performance based on expanding permanent magnetism technique. The paper also gives simulation results. Control software is developed aiming at functions of the device, and based on LabWindows/CVI software platform. The new control system of high attack angle and wind tunnel measurement and control system constitute LAN, realized network communication and control.The control project of continuum changing attack angle, which is based on PCI-1711 data collection card, has succeeded in applying model test and offered reliable test platform for development of important aircraft.
