MEMS devices are lightweight, small size and low power consumption, which can meet with the requirement of aircraft very well. Self-adapting structure for the aerodynamic control, which arrayed by a lot of the same MEMS devices, became the important issue in the AERO-MEMS field. Micro balloon actuator array for aerodynamic control of delta wing has been explored in this paper.According to the theory of boundary layer control and aerodynamics of delta wing at medium attack angle, the generation mechanisms of rolling, pitching, yawing moments, which are produced by coupling between the microactuator array and boundary layer near the leading edge, have been discussed.Then, the model of delta wing and the material of balloon were defined. Microactuator array's physical dimension and process flow also have been designed preliminarily.Base on the mathematic model of load-deflection relationship of the rectangular membrane, micro balloon actuator's theory curve of pressure-deflection has been calculated and plotted. After the simplified geometric model of microactuator was set up, by utilizing ANSYS Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic model, nonlinear structural distortion of silicone rubber can be solved.Finally, numerical analysis of delta wing's fluid field was performed by CFD software for the purpose to verify the control ability of microactuator array and the feasibility of the scheme.
