It is important for social and economic benefits to develop a treatment planning system which is cost-effective and could meet the needs of the development of domestic radiotherapy technology.The radiotherapy treatment planning system is a computer-aided system. It is the implementation of modern cancer radiation therapy providing a strong guarantee. This article proposes the design,implementation methods, and the functional verification methods and standards of the image-based three-dimensional radiation treatment planning systems (TPS-X),and establishes the basic framework and window interface. The system achieves the functions of the importing images, three-dimensional reconstruction and display, dose calculation, plan optimization assessment and program outputting,etc through the five separate modules.The topic discuss a three dimensional reconstruction algorithm which is appropriate for Medical Imageology and a reformed dose calculation algorithm for three dimensional dose calculations,the efficiency of TPS-X is improved by handling the work with the spread, background and networking approaches. Then, make the implementations of the five functional modules'into a complete set of dynamic link program dimensional radiation treatment planning system with approaches of distributing processing,Client/Server, network idea and object-oriented method.The system is designed to meet clinical requirements and deserved to spread widely in the country owing to a simple interface, Chinese display and easy to operate.
