Daqing Periphery Developed Oilfields are characteristic of "Three Low" , namely, low permeability, low productivity and low abundance and which are such marginal oilfields as having great difficulty in water flooding with poor economic benefit. With the ongoing of water flooding operation, a variety of contradiction and problems will emerge and be more severe so it will be more and more difficult in water flooding. The development effect of these oilfields, therefore, can be improved by combining development measures with geology effectively and taking more effective measures to adjust synthetically. These measures can also increase the economic benefit in developing these marginal oilfields.In this article, according to the geological features and production performance of Daqing Periphery Developed Oilfields, a comprehensive appraising method is established which is based on the reservoir geology, development level, development degree and economic benefit and then classify the developed blocks into four categories. After that, this article analyzes systematically the development performance of water flooding, the trend of production rate decline and the distribution of remaining oil of each category and evaluates the adaptability of current well pattern under water flooding. Three types of adaptability are consequently figured out. Also, in this article, theory of fluid flowing though porous medium of low permeable reservoir, principle of petroleum reservoir engineering and methods of economic appraisal are used to analyze the effect, the limitation and the potentials of adjustment measures. Based on the mentioned work above, policies of comprehensive adjustment for each category are created and an arrangement of three year period adjustment on the developed blocks is scheduled. Because of the strong pertinence and practicability of the study and its achievements, it has been applied to the adjustment projects in 2004, 2005 and 2006. It has obtained comparatively good results and economic benefit.
