Entering into 21st century, natural gas industry develops very quickly, it turns moreimportant in World's and our country's energy structure. Since it is a kind of clean energyresource, in a modern society advocating environment protection, natural gas will play a moreand more important role in economy and society development. During a gas field's scientific development, analyzing gas wells' dynamic, finding out gaslayers' character and forecasting gas wells' productivity are basal work. Gas well productivitytesting is in common use and is a leading method in forecasting gas wells' productivity,analyzing gas wells' dynamic and finding out gas layers and well bores' character. So themethods of gas well productivity testing and data analyze play very important roles in gas fields'development. This thesis includes six parts. In the first part, it tells us the history and the actual state ofgas well productivity testing and the deficiencies of conventional testing data analyzing methods.In the second part, it discusses the flow principle of gas through porous media for homogeneousand heterogeneous gas reservoir, lays a foundation for the construction of a new method for gaswell productivity analyze. In the following parts, it discusses all kinds of gas well productivitytesting design methods and testing data analyzing methods, analyzes relative merits of everymethod and gives improving testing data analyzing method. Then, in the fifth part, it deducesthe binomial pressure square pressure falling equations of homogeneous and heterogeneous gasreservoir, concludes the calculating method for practical open flow potential and sets examplesfor this method. The last part expounds the conclusion of this thesis. In the part of basic theory, unsteady productivity analyzing mathematical model isestablished, corresponding productivity analyzing method is discussed and pressure squarebinomial productivity equation is deduced, through analyze to material well data, it indicatesthat the results of unsteady productivity analyzing method are of high precision. This methoddoesn't need steady productivity testing, so it can save testing time and testing fee, at the sametime, it not only brings direct economic benefit but also can test productivity withoutinfluencing gas producing. With this method, more productivity testing can be done and canbring indirect economic benefit, so it is of definite practicability and feasibility. It is expected that through the study of this thesis, the theory and method about theproductivity analyzing method can be improved to a higher level. Thereby, it can present betterbasis of the theory and method of application for the productivity testing.
