Glyphosate acid (PMG) is the largest pesticide production in our country and the world.Herbicide glyphosate acid is also broad-spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity and good compatibility with the environment.Because the water solubility of glyphosate acid is small, so in practical applications usually need to be transformed into water-soluble salts.This dimethylamine salt of glyphosate prepared by solvent screening method to glyphosate acid, dimethylamine as raw materials.This method has a single raw material, product purity, high yield, easy process of industrialization, etc., and the waste generated during the synthesis of a small amount.This is of great research value, as dimethylamine salt of glyphosate with higher biological activity in all glyphosate salts, their synthesis is the hot spots in the world, but also the raw material preparation of new environmentally friendly water-based formulations.We analysis and testing of the dimethylamine salt of glyphosate available agent, We carried out experiments of other solid synthesis process of glyphosate salts. By the dimethylamine salt of glyphosate clear physical and chemical properties,we screened a suitable synthesis.The solvent synthesis process, we performed the operation condition optimization. By the choice of solvent to glyphosate acid and dimethylamine react smoothly in the system, While the reaction product of dimethylamine salt of glyphosate precipitated from the solvent system。 The final product is obtained by filtering and drying.Dimethylamine salt of glyphosate solid original drug to reach the 96% average yield.Of the dimethylamine salt of glyphosate obtained solid product was the original drug by HPLC, while the original drug to carry out FT-IR, TG-DTA crystal differential thermal analysis, powder X-ray diffraction testing.
