| The expression higher,more flexible and more effective in precision and demographic data new methods of statistics are needed adapting to the sustainable development of the society.Specialization of population census data is one of the methods to solve above-mentioned problems.And spatial analysis is the important part in population re-distributing study.GIS technology has its outstanding advantages in spatial analysis.Spatial distributing of statistical population data is an effective way to integrate statistical data and natural factors.This research used the multiple regression model to discuss the relationship between the spatial pattern of the population density and regional economic development.With Tongzhou City in Nantong as research unit, this paper makes a elementary study for simulating spatial distribution of population density in small scale. Based on the statistical population data of Tongzhou by The Statistical Yearbooks of Tongzhou City in 2007,works have been done as following:l.This research analyses the relationship between population density and the influencing factors in Tongzhou County, including various social economy indexes and topographical index (river density).2.Based on the analysis above, taking GIS software and SPSS statistical software as tools, this paper established the model of population distribution of Tongzhou by means of multiple variables regression analysis.3.Based on the model of population above, a rasterized population density map for Tongzhou County was made,and the precision of the model was analyzed.The spatialization of small-region population density is very miportant for regional development plan.It is found that the method can produce better simulation results and the operation is of great significance in the practice application.The method used in this paper can be referenced by the applied researches for county-scale population distribution. At the same time, the results can provide a theoretical basis for promoting urbanization process and improving the management of population, resources and environment in Tongzhou City. |
