Study On E-procurement Application In FRIPP

Procurement management increasingly plays more and more important role in business enterprises with the globalization of economy and fast development of information technology. It has been major solution to improve the competence of business enterprise.As a new procurement, E-procurement has shown great advantages compared to traditional procurement. The paper carried out the research on E-procurement under the background.The paper analyzed the importance and the development tendency of E-procurement in enterprise and explained E-procurement would definitely be the tendency of purchasing management. On the base of the analysis and explanation, through some cases of successfully applying E-procurement, the research purpose and significance were introduced. Next, according to the basic definition and major theories of purchasing management and E-procurement, through the analysis of process,mode, tendency and advantages of E-procurement, the paper showed the importance of E-procurement in improving the purchasing management. Then the business environment of FRIPP, the industry characteristic and the present purchasing situation of FRIPP as well as the existed problems at present were described, moreover, the necessary of applying E-procurement in FRIPP were emphasized. Afterwards the implement plan of E-procurement in FRIPP was discussed. The system objective and main function request were analyzed in the discussion. The main function of the system was also explained and the implement suggestions of the system were given. Finally, conclusions of the paper were summarized at final part.In general, the research method of the paper was based on the basic definition and main theory of purchasing management and E-procurement. The research objective was to find solution to problems in purchasing management in enterprise. The research significance lied in providing effective implement plan of improving purchasing management in FRIPP. In addition, the research method and conclusion of the paper could be refereed to by some enterprises in some degree.
