The Study Of Ecological Environment In The Process Of Population Urbanization In Jilin Province

Nowadays the issues of population,resources,environment and sustainable development have attracted the major concern in global scope. With these phenomenon , the ecological problem of population urbanization has also became increasingly prominent and it can not be ignored in social development and progress. The so-called ecological effects of urbanization have the interaction between the population urbanization and the ecological environment. The main representation of urban population has both positive and negative effects on environment as well as the promotion and inhibition effects of ecological environment on the population urbanization. In particular,the ecological effects of population urbanization can be defined as: in the process of population urbanization, the interaction between the population urbanization and the ecological environment has brought the change in the structure and function of ecosystem.Jilin Province is known as the "industrial cradle", it acts as one of the old northeastern industrial base in china,while Jilin Province is a major agricultural province and also is an important grain production base. The rapid rise of industry and agriculture in Jilin province promotes the population urbanization in a high level. At the same time, with the rapid development of population urbanization, the ecological environment of Jilin Province is also subject to some negative impact and the deteriorative ecological environment has the feedback on the development of urbanization,it has bad effect on the population urbanization and the construction of ecological city. This passage reminds us that we should pay more attention to the ecological environment in the process of urbanization. In this paper, the author uses quantitative analytical methods and from the perspective of dynamic angle to analyze the progress of population urbanization and the effects of ecological environment in nearly 12 years in Jilin province. This paper include the introduction,the conclusion and the other five parts,the main content of each part as follows:The introduction of this article describes the background, the data resources, the meaning of research and the framework.The first part tells about the basic theory of the population urbanization and the ecological environment. It has introduced population urbanization,ecological environment and some related concept has illustrated the population urbanization and ecological environment theory - the complex theory of people and earth system and the theory of sustainable development,meanwhile,this part has also analyzed the ecological effects in population urbanization,that is the positive and negative effect of population urbanization on the ecological environment.The second part has introduced the process of urbanization in Jilin province. Through the data of "China Statistical Yearbook" ,"Statistical Yearbook of Jilin Province","Fifty years of New China,the compilation of statistical information" and "Statistical Yearbook of Chinese cities," the author has calculated the standard in Jilin Province from 1949 to the present(2007). Through the analysis of these data,the process of the population urbanization can be divided into four stages: the initial stage, the fluctuation stage,the stagnation and rapid development stage. In general, the population urbanization has appeared an upward trend.The third part has analyzed the current ecological situation in Jilin Province in the way of study and describing the quality of water,earth and the air. The study and analysis of water resources is primarily on the acreage of river basin,its portion of the whole land area,the total volume of water resources, the distributional situation and the water resource of per capita. And the analysis of land resources has been conducted by the study of the land utilization and soil erosion in Jilin Province. And finally this part has done the comparative study of air quality which has been identified by the dust air and SO2 emissions and the relevant statistics in 2000.The key study of this article is bearded in the fourth part. Based on the analysis of the process of urbanization and the comparative study of environmental quality in Jilin Province,this part has explored the ecological environment effects,both in positive and negative terms,of population urbanization of Jilin Province,with the conclusion that there is negative connection between the level of urbanization and ecological environment in Jilin Province where the process of urbanization has downgraded the ecological environment. And this part has established a regression analysis model which has simulated based on the calculation of the statistics of level of population urbanization and the EQI data of Jilin Province in the past twelve years(1996-2007).And the model has been simulated and tested with the views which has made the conclusion with the regress testing. And then this part confirmed fatherly with suggestions that some ecological and environmental countermeasures should be done so that the ecological and environmental development can match up with the process of population urbanization in Jilin Province.With the full analysis of the current situation of the contradiction between ecological environment and the population in Jilin Province,the fifth part has made the suggestions of the relevant strategies which include the development of recycled economy,strengthening the construction of ecological civilization,the building of urban management system and other measures.The last but the most important part of all has made the final conclusion of the whole article as following. The process of the population urbanization has accelerated yet the ecological and environmental quality has downgraded in the last twelve years based on the study of the research of ecology and population urbanization in Jilin Province. With careful study and analysis of the process of the population urbanization and ecological and environmental quality in Jilin Province,the article has built a regress ional model with the final result and conclusion that there is negative connection between the level of urbanization and ecological environment in Jilin Province.
