Strategy Of Location Choice On Chinese Foreign Direct Investment

Foreign direct investment(FDI),which has become the key of obtaining the international controlling power,is an important momentum of international economic system,and also is the crux to control the world economies.China has become the leading one in the developing countries,of which a few have join the largest international corporations in the world. China's FDI capital is now concentrating on a few countries and sectors,so the research on the location choice is greatly influential for our country's FDI and the strategy of "go out".Firstly,the thesis discussed some theories related to FDI.Secondly,the thesis introduces the situation of China's outward FDI and the situation of location distribution of it in the past and at present and find out the problems of the FID location distribution.It adds some new variables on the basis of quoting variables of former researchers.It established the gravity model,used the data of foreign direct investment accounted for more than 85%of the total of 30 countries or regions to empirically analyze the factor which effect location choice for enterprises" FDI in step form macro angle.This article concluded and systematically analyzed the factors of foreign direct investment strategy selection,introduced quantitative and qualitative analysis method through demonstrating mathematical model and typical cases,stated the location selection strategy suitable for Chinese companies.Therefore it provided feasible and scientific strategy for Chinese companies to develop location selection overseas.
