With population growth and the scarcity of resources, how to eliminate wastes and recycle resources in city life is attached importance more and more. Many people is studying on disposal technique and management theory of the solid wastes. In this paper, namely, basing on the city life solid wastes logistics process, it is purpose to introduce the life cycle assessment(LCA) into the logistics system of city life solid wastes. Through the establishment of life cycle inventory (LCI), make it clear to environmental pollution and resource consumption in the process of the solid wastes logistics. According to LCI, the results of impact analyses can be educed, thereby, the environmental impact of wastes logistics can be found out.First, according to characteristics of city life solid wastes logistics system and process, the paper confirms the system boundaries of the LCA of city life solid wastes. Through analyzing the source, flow quantity and flow direction of life solid wastes, with the energy consumption, the paper establishes the list of the substance flow and energy flow of input and output. During process of the life cycle impact assessment, this paper introduces ecological footprint method to assess the relations between the city life solid wastes logistics and the ecological environment and the impact to the. At last, it is takes 12 districts of Beijing logistics transportation network for example to do empirical analysis, and analyzes the impact to ecological footprint because of recycling resources ,in order to construction of a sound solid wastes management system and providing the theoretical basis and reference for construction of circular economy.
