This article tries to utilize the modern shipbuilding theory, the project management and process reengineering, combined with the related request of SC Heavy Industry Group for transforming shipbuilding mode, through the external environment and internal condition analysis in ZJ Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, expounds the importance of transforming shipbuilding mode. It makes the research to the original production process, proposes to take intermediate product as the guidance, and optimize main process of assembly shipbuilding. Throughout taking management concept of the hull as the foundation, the pallet control as the center, section painting dressing as key. Thus it forms the water passage of hull construction, outfitting with coating work in the space, production process time in order. The foundation is laid for further establishing the new production work system.A new construction plan system is established to prominence plan's comprehensive nature and the coordination, and to provide the working platform of construction plan for the design, the craft, plan and each specialized expert. The production design is deepened, and a new working position code is established. Production design code guides production management flow. The continuous research improvement of the new craft and new technology is conducted to establish plan of water passage construction, section outfitting, section painting dressing and precision management. By using the method of project management, the engineering plan management gotten perfect and a standard closure node plan system is formed. The implementation of 4250TEU container's ship construction is proved the superiority of the new production process. Finally, the modern shipyard's appraisal method is used to evaluate the factory condition after implement of process reengineering. It shows that the new production process system has the high practical value.
