Study On The Dynamics Of Land-use Change And Driving Force In Xianyang City

With economic development, population growth, demand for land resources increased, contradictions between land use and socio-economic will be continuously severe. Therefore, it is very significance to analyze features of spatial and temporal changes of land use in the context of rapid economic development, reveal the socio-economic factor of the LUCC, adjust and formulate reasonable and targeted local land use policies on the basis of objectively judging the status of land use.This paper analyzed the land use situation of Xianyang city at Present according to 2006 statistical data of Xian yang, then, from different LUCC views analyzed the dynamic change of land use in Xianyang city from2000 to 2006, since then, using the gray relational analysis method in the DPS processing software, selected the indexes of land use and socio-economic, analyzed driving forces of land use change in the background of the economic rapid development in xian yang city, finally, identified the main driving factors of the changes in the land use. On this basis, some suggestions on the sustainable development of land resource in Xian yang was proposed. Conclusions are as follows.(1) In the change amount of land use, the farmland, settlements and industrial land, territorial waters and unused land were constantly reducing, but the orchard, woodland, grassland, transportation and other land-use type were increasing.(2) In the change speed of land use, the increase speed of the woodland was the top among the eight types of land use between 2000 to 2006, and of transportation and park land were as follow, the slowest was grassland. The speed of the farmland decrease most quickly, followed by that of unused land and waters, the last that was settlements land industrial.(3) In the change structure of land use, the proportion of farmland, unused land and waters decline, but of orchard land and woodland increase, meanwhile, the structure of grassland, industrial settlements land and transportation land did not change. In terms of space, the biggest change in land use structure is Liquan county, followed by Weicheng area, and the end is Xingping county.(4) In the terms of the level of land-use, the level of land use in Xianyang city between 2000 and 2001 is in a period of recession, but a period of development was between 2000 and 2001. On view of space, the biggest level of land use was Qindu area, the smallest Xunyi county; The change of land use level in Weicheng area was in the top, Bin County was in the last. Qindu area and Liquan County was in a period of development, the other county were in a period of development recession.(6) On the basis of analysis above, the suggestions of land sustainable use in Xianyang city are as follow. Strictly control population growth to improve the intensive use of urban land use. Optimize the structure of land use to ensure the protection of arable land. Adhere to combine the exploitation and utilization, remediation protection for land to promote virtuous circle of land eco-systems. Take full advantage of modern scientific and technological means to strengthen the scientific management of land resources. Make scientific overall land use planning to cany out macroeconomic control of land use. According to the natural characteristics, district land use and improve the utilization of land. Promote reasonably the process of urbanization and arrange comprehensive urban and rural development.
