Sloping land conversation project in middle and upper reaches of Yang'Zi River was an important constituent of national environment construction, and the project in Beichuan county was one of the technical demonstration spots guided by national forestry office. In this research , the model of medical-woods, husbandry-woods and tea-sericulture woods were selected as the object of ecological and economic benefit analysis. After investigation and measurement evaluation, the weight of each index weight was endowed and gray correlation analysis was employed to comprehensively evaluate.The result indicated that, the respective regional superiority and the characteristic of different management models of were fully displayed, unique industry was formed. Both the local ecological environment and the income of local peasantry were improved obviously, economic and ecological benefit were considered well.1. In medical-woods model, Magnolia liliflora, Magnolia officinalis, Eucommia ulmoides , Phellodendron chinense schneid ,Coptis chinensis and Gastrodia elat were managed. Research on this model showed that: total production value was 1.9678 million Yuan, land returns ratio was 10,930 Yuan/hm~2, cost returns ratio was2.8, work returns ratio was 40.7 Yuan/labor dayhm~2, income of peasant household was 6,182 Yuan; the amount of runoff and sediment in medical-woods land and comparative bare land were 156.99m~3/hm~2, 105.lt/hm~2 and 329.61m~3/hm~2, 266.73t/hm~2 , the capability of water and soil conservation were 0.524 and 0.606, from May to Sept.2.
