Research On Hydrolyzing Property Of A New Kind Of Modified Polyester

Hydrolyzing reaction is one of the most important research areas of polymer depolymerizing theory. The prime part of this paper is to research the hydrolyzing properties of a new kind of modified polyester, as also belongs to research fields of depolymerizing theory. The modified polyester is commonly called Water-soluble polyester or Alkali-hydrolysis degradable polyester, which has been broadly applied to textiles, inks, coatings, adhesives and so on due to its fine hydrolyzing property or soluble property, and all of above have indicated its good application prospects.The usual so-called Water-soluble polyester actually can be defined as a kind of Alkali-hydrolysis polyester, as it can just be soluble in the related solutions only after hydrolyzing. While there also exists a kind of authentic pure water-soluble polyester that can directly dissolve in pure water without hydrolyzing in advance, which can be strictly called true water-soluble polyester. Actually the two kinds of polyesters are manufactured through the similar used modified methods. The emphasis of the research in this paper only focuses on hydrolyzing properties of Alkali-hydrolysis polyester, merely partly related to resolving properties research of Water-soluble polyester as a contrast to Alkali-hydrolysis polyester. Through many kinds of testing instruments and research methods, the relative all-around disciplines and traits of the polyester hydrolyzing were obtained whereby it can supply valuable datas and theory reference to subsequent research.The main work of this paper can be listed as followed: (1) structural characterization of Alkali-hydrolysis polyester, which mainly consists of chemical structure research, aggregative structure research, thermal properties research and so on; (2) the research of structure variation of Alkali-hydrolysis polyester between before hydrolyzing and after hydrolyzing; (3) the research of hydrolyzing process laws of Alkali-hydrolysis polyester; (4) the research of hydrolyzing dynamics of Alkali-hydrolysis polyester.The results of the research provide the valuable datas and theory for subsequent application of the Alkali-hydrolysis polyester. The obtained conclusion of the research including hydrolyzing mechanism, reaction dynamics, activation energy and so on can give a much profounder cognition to Alkali-hydrolysis polyester hydrolyzing reaction, which also amplify the research domain of polymer depolymerizing theory.
