Research On Heterogeneous Data Integration And Information Sharing Mode

With the construction of enterprise information deepening, according to their demands of development, related application system has been established by Enterprise's business departments. Because of lacking unified Planning, business standard and other objective reasons, the phenomenon of information island has become more serious. As the rapid development of technology and frequent cooperation of each business department, it's more and more important that these isolated systems need to be organically connected to promote information share. So how to realize information share of heterogeneous database becomes a worth-studying subject .Based on esearching present methods of data integration, a method for heterogeneous data integration is designed based on Mediator/Wrapper middleware . This system structure adopts XML Schema to build public models, uses XML as the exchange data format, uses XQuery as the global query language and shields the difference of operating environment of data sources based on Web Services technology to set up a public integrated environment in the mediation which shields all differences in aspects of data source such as the platform, system environment and internal data structure,and so on. It provides a unified and transparent interface for user and implemented the integrated query of heterogeneous data source.In his paper, the structure and process of system and key technology are designed and described, furthermore, integration middlewares of share of heterogeneous data are deeply researched and design and realization of key models are described in detail. Then, the method for transforming from the relation schema to XML Schema model is designed and implemented. By using global mapping from output model to global model and local mapping from output model to local model, the problem with mapping from platform model of heterogeneous data integration to bottom data model is solved.A public model of the integration system is constructed and an algorithm for global decomposed querying based on the public model in the query processor has been realized. By using Web Service technology, every data source is enclosed into a Web Service to realize seamless integration of heterogeneous data source, which makes the system possess such good qualities as less coupling, flexibility and easy extension.Finally, combined with constuction of informatization of universities, the comprehensive management query system of Xi'an university of science and technology is realized.Result of experiment shows that the system can satisfy routine query demands, which possesses certain practical value and application prospect. Beneficial trial of appication of constuction of informatization of enterprises based on middleware heterogeneous data integration technology is done.
