As the digital servo technology and open architecture CNC system development, how toachieve servo control unit and high-speed digital communication between devices into thefield of motion control the key issues facing. With the CNC control accuracy and real-timerequirements increasing, analog interface, can not meet the requirements of modern CNCtechnology. Purpose of this paper is to SERCOS fieldbus technology and DSP embeddedtechnologies, to meet the high-speed and high precision CNC control requirements to ensurereal-time data transmission and reliability.Detailed analysis of papers in the SERCOS bus protocol architecture and workingprinciple based on the combination of high-performance floating-point processor DSP6713,the design of the SERCOS bus interface module. SERCON816 initialization parameters onthe calculation of in-depth study and exploration. This paper designed the SERCOS interface,the initialization process, including SERCON816 of RAM and register address definition andcalculation of assignment, switch communication stage, parameter storage and read-writeprocess, the implementation mechanism of command process, service access and periodicdata channels The data transfer mechanism, data transfer mode and data mode of operation.Finally, the structures based on SDS9-4CNCH SERCOS motion control system interface testsystem and the main station for the test.
