The Research Of Resource Management For Hybrid Clouds In Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing is one of the most popular technologies nowadays. More and more companies are focusing and spending plenty of energy on it, which makes Cloud Computing get quickly developed. About three years ago, Cloud Computing was still an abstract concept, while it has been put into practice with the great effort of Google, Microsoft and IBM. It comes to us and is changing our lives. Therefore, Cloud Computing is a key technology to research in computer application field.Resource management is one of the important research topics in Cloud Computing. As there are usually lots of servers in a cloud where most of resource is distributed in, it is necessary to discuss how to allocate the resources to make these servers collaborate appropriately, and how to offer users services with high efficiency and proper price. If public clouds and private clouds exist together, we will consider the ways of choosing public clouds and private clouds, and allocating the resources among several clouds to serve users. Thus, great research work should be done on the resource management on cloud computing.This thesis concentrates on the following aspects:1. Based on a number of documents, the thesis firstly shows the developing tendency of cloud computing and illustrates the existing situation of research on hybrid cloud, and then a hybrid communication model based on OSA is designed. The model is not only safe and reasonable for private clouds to use the resources of public clouds, but also convenient for transplant of cloud applications. This model is implemented based on the open source simulator platform OMNeT++.2. A scheme of improving resource management in the situation of hybrid cloud is proposed. Based on the Chord protocol in P2P technology, the scheme improves the resource management performance not only in a cloud but also between several clouds. What's more, it provides a resource backup method adapting to the improving resource management. At last, the scheme is implemented in a real network based on the open source code Chord issued by MIT.
