Policy Based Home NodeB Subsystem Universal Configure Architecture

Home NodeB Subsystem(HNS) supplies a low cost solution for the indoor area network, which can satisfies the request of flexible data service and high efficient access, and also can reduces the invest from many areas such as the construct cost, the operating expense and the terminal user management fee and so on. In the current time, HNS needs to cope with a large quantity of data service and number image service, which have high quality request and burst frequently. Based on the protocols working on the system, HNS can satisfy its basic request that access to the core network. But the problem is there is no method now to support the management function that can improve the steady ability and accurate management ability.First of all, this paper clarifies the architecture of Home NodeB Subsystem and the principle of policy system, including the composition of the system, protocols and the procedure. And then proposes the problem on the performance in the whole system, so the thought that solving the problem is followed. Then introduces the concept of policy, based on which this paper analyzes the basic procedure of HNS that can realizes the self management function and so that Home NodeB Subsystem is proposed. And next details the procedure of Home NodeB realizes the self configure and self optimize, rules the Goh(the interface between policy server and Provisioning Gateway) interface which COPS(Common Object Policy System) protocol work at and its protocol in the whole system. At the end, by simulation, this paper verifies the correction of the policy based HNS architecture.The architecture proposes in this paper realizes easily, runs steadily and extends simply. By giving support to the self configure and self optimize ability, the whole system enhances its steady property and process ability to the sudden event, so that it can be worked on the system more effective.
