As a high-tech product integrated of electronic technology, optical technology and control technology, LED large screen display system is gradually attracting people's attention. Because of its wide dynamic range, high brightness, fast response speed, stable performance, it is becoming a leader in display media, and is now widely used in industry, advertising, sports venues, transportation and many other fields. Currently, the structures of LED display screen are different from each other, and the parameters users asked to display are also different, therefore, it is more and more important to design a scanning control system supporting many kinds of structures and meeting different user requirements.This design aims at designing a scanning screen control system which supports multi-line scanning screen, and its resolution, gray scale and brightness level can be adjusted according to user requirements. With the digital visual interface as a data source and Gigabit Ethernet as the transport media, this issue designs a scanning control system which can display the computer images on a large LED screen by real-time. The main topics include the following:1. Analysis the existing long-distance transmission methods and working principle of video data, design Gigabit Ethernet Data transmission circuit for data exchange, by selecting the correct form of transmission and coupling means, determine the corresponding system parameters and ensure the real-time and stability of data exchange.2. Analysis the organizational structure and storage methods of the video data in the scanning control system design a large capacity cache with SDRAM as the memory, for the complexity of the SDRAM operation timing, design an SDRAM logic controller with hardware description language to facilitate the reading and writing operation on the SDRAM.3. Analyze the interface timing of LED display drive circuit and scanning forming principle of the gray theory, design scanning signal generation module, driver LED large screen to display, and the system supports multiple brightness level adjustment4. Design the organizational structure of video data, the system supports multi-line scanning screen, design structure of data in stored and logic control of reading and writing, making the system more flexible, which can support a variety of resolution and gray scale adjustment.The simulation and test results of the design of large screen LED scanning control system show that all the design requirements of each module have been achieved, the scanning control system can drive multi-line scanning screen and its resolution, gray scale and brightness level can be adjusted according to the user's requirements, and is high valuable in application.
