The Research Of Preventing Illegal Files Being Shared By Bittorrent

Being a popular network module, P2P is different from the classical module"client/server". In a P2P network, every peer has the same degree. While a peer is working as a client, it is a server too. It is more stronger, more expansible and better performance. Many applications based on P2P come out. This changed the classical application style.Sharing files by P2P has come to be an important way of file sharing, The traditional way of file sharing was changed by it. It made the file sharing more efficient and facilitative. But As it gives facilities to file sharing, there comes with it some problems too. It become an important method of sharing of illegal files. For the properties of file sharing of P2P, There isn't an available method to prevent the behavior of sharing illegal file by P2P.In this paper, the author take out a method to solve that problem. In this paper we mainly talk about two point:1. talk about the Bittorrent Specification and analyse the way of sharing file in Bittorent.2. Based on the analysis of BitTorrent Specification , the author brings out a methd to prevent the illegal file being shared by BitTorrent.The core idea of that method is based on the properties of TCP connection. This method prevent the TCP connection between peers of BitTorrent .The shortage of this way is that if ther is a great amount of peers in the sharing system, preventing the sharing is much more complex.
