Contemporary Press Comment Author Column Study

In this paper, I will study the newspaper columnist and makes some cases study of contemporary newspaper columnist trying to find the characteristics of commentators to explore the development trend of columnists, found the current problems and some solutions.Through sample surveys, quantitative and qualitative analysis, I found that newspaper column on contemporary commentators have made great progress than before, the number and critizens are excessive. Experts and scholars and ordinary citizens joined the column to the critical comments also inject new vitality into a more diversified structure of the comment author. Economic Review, and appeared Games, comments, etc. the threshold are lower. However, there are some issues, such as the number of comments were more general, but the quality needs to be improved; some experts professional articles more than a lack of popular; topics homogenization, too spent to pursue the depth of the neglect of the article; columnists lack of interaction with the Editor ; newspaper column the lack of personality, author and style of writing and so on are similar.To solve these problems, I give some solutions about editors and writers both sides, such as editorial columns to strengthen the positioning of multi-communication with the author, the author should be more strict demands on themselves, to enhance the quality of self-cultivated sense of social responsibility, business learning and knowledge accumulation and so on, and to explore how culture commentators were found to cultivate more high-quality columns commentators to promote the healthy development of more ecological comments.
