With the rapid development of the embedded technology, the network technology and the control technology, the remote monitoring technology has been improved rapidly. Aim at the status quo of automation equipments scale expansion, increasingly complex structure, operation area to diversify in the production process, the remote monitoring system has toward to the direction of network, decentralized and intelligent. In order to realize the remote operation of automated equipment, centralized management and monitoring, we construct an Internet-based remote monitoring system.According to the specific needs of this issue, the general design scheme is put forward in this paper. The system which uses C / S (client / server) architecture, designs the remote monitoring platform as the client, builds the embedded server placed in site environment. Remote monitoring platform is designed at the .Net environment, which uses the C # language to program and the Winform technology to develop the front control interface; uses the Socket technology to achieve network communication; it has developed the network database in SQL Server 2000 environment.The front control interface uses the ADO.NET technology to operat the database, which realizes the equipment information display, storage and access. Through the Internet and the embedded server, the remote monitoring platform has complished the two-way information transmission, displayed the real-time operating parameters of the devices, and instered the data information into the database, as a historical record to prepare for the later check, realized on the monitoring and controlling of the distributed equipment.The remote monitoring system based on the Internet, has acchieved all scattered, all-digital of the monitoring network, which has solved the problem of the underlying equipment and Internet-site seamless connectivity. Experimental tests show that the system is stable, reliable, which has attained the preliminary research goal.
