With the rapid development of economic and rising of living standards, more and more ordinary families owns cars, therefore anti-theft has becoming an important social problem that needs to be solved. Most of the anti-theft devices in the market have two main shortcomings:high rate of false alarm and the shortened effective distance.To solve the two shortcomings above, this paper proposals an anti-theft device which combinates multi-sensor data fusion technology and the GSM network communications. Multi-sensor information fusion technology is a new technology, can effectively reduce uncertainty and improve accuracy in decision-making and can solve the problem of high false alarm rate. The article focuses on the status and trends of car anti-theft inquiry, and then systematically discusses the basic multi-sensor data fusion principles, functions and mathematical models. Based on multi-sensor data fusion theory, this article reasonably choice several sensors for automotive anti-theft chips, microwave, infrared, acceleration sensors and Hall devices to work together to conduct real-time monitoring of vehicle. The local information through these sensors exist redundancy and complementary. Considering those formation, I can get complete descriptions consisted with the system environment. So can reduce the uncertainty, improve the decision-making, planning and reaction speed and improving the accuracy of alarm system. Also this paper is using GSM module of TC35 in response of acoustic. During the automobile is determined, central processing unit of system can send GSM network information to owners directly, so wireless communication network devices are no longer limited by the distance.Based on the above thoughts, this paper designs the hardware of the alarm system, including sensor module, power module, acoustic response module and the central processing unit module. Then discussed some mature methods of information fusion and chose the D-S evidence theory as fusion algorithm. The software structure for the whole system of information fusion is described and detailed analysis of the entire system software architecture.
