With the development of society,people often go business by p ublic bus,especially the 2008 Beijing Olympics,the 2010 Shang Hai World Expo and Guangzhou Asian Games in China and other large international events,public transportation has become an important r esearch question.Embedded intelligent public transport vehicle termin al is the main component of the ITS(Intelligen Transport System),w hich is produced by one of China's leading transportation technolog y company.It is mainly combined GPS and embeeded technologies.It achieves broadcasting,display service information and other function s,and provides more personalized travel services.This thesis has made major efforts from the following:1. According to transit vehicle terminal.This thesis designed a speci al route communication protocol,and achieved by the form of middl eware,in order to solve the different hardware interfaces and softwar e modules of unified communications.2. Establishing access point model, traffic jam model, speed alarm models and road signs recognition model, makes it possible to simp lify the complicated bus lines identify.3. Proposes public transport vehicle terminal linux embedded intellig ent six models.By transplanting and customizing u-boot,cutting and customizing linux kernel, creating initrd file system and root file sy stem, customizing system service, this thesis creates specifical embe dded linux operating system for the smart vehicle terminal,which so lves the huge size of the existing general purpose operating system, and embedded operating system can not fully meet the high needs. Through the hierarchical model,each module can be upgraded indivi dually without any interference.4. Establishing an unusual power-down mechanism and the retransm issi on timeout mechanism is to resolve the problem that the termin al system can not accurate report correctly and restore points and 1 og after abnormal power-down,which improveed the reliability and s tability of system.
