The key criterion when evaluating the seeder's quality is the uniformity of seeding .In the work of planter'development and identification, detecting seed distance accurately and efficiency ,can greatly improve the development speed and product identification efficiency.The study of detecting seed distance technology is hot in evaluating the seeder's quality . However, the existing detecting methods, some only used in laboratory test, or some used in field only can detect the seeds'location indirectly. There is much deviation between the actual landing locations of the seed.This paper is based on the principle of DSP controlled line array CCD to execute image acquisition , and developed a new system of DSP controlled linear CCD to achieve the seed real-time fall position. It not only can be used for laboratory test but also field trials. The collection device installed on the planter seed tube bottom, so can collect the real landing place of seeds.DSP controlled line array CCD to achieve uniformity of seed spacing detection system, including image acquisition module, image transmission module, digital image stitching module and digital image processing module.Using DM642 control linear CCD to achieve the real-time online seed space image is the core of the system. It includes front image acquisition module (TCD2252D image sensor), and image transmission module (TMS320DM642). In this paper, using high-speed linear CCD and TMS320DM642 completed the image collection and transmission system design.At first, this paper introduces the current detection technology of seed spacing uniformity .After analysis, obtained the deficiencies of current detection technology and Made the significance of this research project.Secondly, made a detail exposition for the characteristics of DSP.Based on HGK-DM642A development board, focuses on the DM642's rich peripheral interface EMIFA, Video port characteristics and configuration, EDMA transfer mechanism, Cache features and structures.,and introduced TI Real-time operating system DSP / BIOS and CSL.Thirdly,completed the hardware and software design of TMS320DM642 control linear CCD for seeding spacing uniformity real-time detection; Designed connection methods of external storage ; This article focuses on the digital image data acquisition and transmission. At the same time give the method that controlling the acquisition speed of a linear CCD in different planter speeds to prevent the images overlap or openly mining.And then, this paper used EDMA channel transfer image data between memory and external storage; given the design of the video buffer FIFO threshold and EDMA frame size.Finally, this paper has made some proposals on the further improvement of the system, and perspectives the system of based on the DM642 acquisition and process image in agriculture development.
