Research On Coal Enterprise Decision Support System Based On Data Warehouse

With the expansion of business scale and the continuous improvement of the level of information on corporate decision-making, more scientific and decision-making is also a higher demand. As a more complex business and a large amount of data has appeared, how to manage and recombine these data source, and extract valuable information to make decision, has become a impending problem to solve. At this time, decision support system based on data warehouse and data mining gives a good answer.This paper described the background of coal industry, analyzed the problems of coal enterprise information construction, introduced the concept and using of data warehouse and data mining, and then explained the necessity of establishing coal enterprise decision support system based on data warehouse. Then, the paper analyzed the requirements of enterprises and designed the architecture of the system and discussed the implementation of data warehouse. Finally, from the coal mining enterprise business model, established the data warehouse model, and then design the decision analysis tools based on data warehouse. Reality show that coal enterprise decision support system based on data warehouse provided a strong support for the strategy of coal enterprise production and management.
