MATLAB is one kind of extensively used science and engineering caclulation software of high-performance value calculation and graphical display. Since MATLAB can not write directly to hardware available for operation, and it lacks of real-time property, the use on the applications has been significantly hampered. The LabWindows/CVI can control the I/O device directly. MATLAB applications through the soft interface between MATLAB and LabWindows/CVI, achievable in the MATLAB environment for specific hardware interface signals. The thesis developed a data acquisition and control system based on MATLAB with the self-made acquisition card, utilizing LabWindows/CVI software platfrom.This article elaborated the hardware composition, the software design and the related interface circuit of the data acquisition and control system in detail.In software design, application program on PC was composed using LabWindows/CVI environment. MATLAB is used as the simulation background. The real-time experiments are controled by the USB interface through the LabWindows/CVI.In hardware design, analogy to digital converter TLC1543 and digital to analogy converter TLV5617 from Texas Instruments Corporation are used for the high speed data acquisition and output. Data transfer from data acquisiton board to PC are realized with the aid of micro-controller AT89S52 from ATMEL Corporation and USB interface device PDIUSBD12 from Philips Semiconductors Corporation. This thesis is about to introduce the design of furnace temperature control system. Fuzzy PID is got by combining PID with fuzzy control technology. The control method of Fuzzy Self-tuning PIDcombining intelligent control arithmetic is used. And the PID parameter's auto-turning is actualized finally. Compareing the common PID, the Fuzzy Self-turning PID has lots of strongpoints such as the short adjust time, the smooth intergradation, and the well anti-interferenc.In this thesis, the PID auto-tuning algorighm is designed based on theoretical analysis and simulation. This method indicates a reasonable way for further searches in this field. The design of this data acquisition and control system's circuit and control program is valuable for others to develop the same kind of products.
