Laser radar technology mainly base on laser transmitter and receiver technology. This basis has a wide range of applications in the laser rangefinder, laser with aiming, laser-guided, laser communication and other laser technologies.This paper focuses on the laser radar signal receiving system research, first introduced the laser radar detection technology, and then elaborate optical detection theory, on this basis study and design of the laser radar signal receiving system. As a optic- electric converter with APD; chosen broadband, low noise, large linear input range amplifier AD5210 as pre-amplifier; using AD8129 voltage amplifier provides voltage gain; moment of identification achieved through the combination of ADCMP565 and high-pass timing method. After finished the detector production and packaging, then designed the connection with coupling fiber. Do the performance tests of the detector sensitivity,rise time,pulse width and noise coefficient. The optical detection receive system is used in single-lens radar test and outdoor ranging experiments, successfully received echo signal, and then finished the 2×2 APD array of optical detection system, and experiments on the compound eyes radar detection system.
