Wireless sensor network which is made by the convergence of Sensor technology, embedded computing technology and wireless communication technology, is a novel technology about monitoring, acquiring and processing a variety of specific environmental information to be monitored, It has become one of the front fields to recerch. Design trend of wireless sensor network is the special application rather than general applications. With the extensive application of wireless sensor networks, the structure of hardware platform is obvious difference, so the software system on the wireless sensor network node must have a very good portability, Embedded operating system can solve this problem, so the research of the wireless sensor network operating system is necessary.At present, there are many types of embedded real-time operating system, The topic choses an open source real-time operating systemμC/OS-II, which is a complete, portable multi-tasking operating system. The main content of this paper is wireless sensor network system design based on a 32-bit ARM microprocessor LPC2138 and the juC/OS-ll operating system. explained the specific technologies and related implementations.First, discusses detailes of methods and processes for theμC/OS-II operating system transplantation. At the same time, solve the problem of priority inversion for operating system, build out the sensor node platform. put forward a system software design method based on wireless sensor network architecture and operating system task partition, which including ptotocol stack and applications task design, Implements the communication mechanism between tasks. At the same time, analyze the data link layer and make a corresponding lack of improvement, the final optimization of the system making the system more rational useful of resources.Finally, the paper has tested the wireless sensor network system, experimental results show that wireless sensor network system operate stably and reliably,which proved that System migration is correct and task division is reasonable. Improvement of protocol and optimization of system have been verified commendably.
