A Research On The TV Talk Show Program Of News Analysis

It has been ten years since the launching of"news analysis"section from Phoenix Satellite TV. This section has set up a pioneer for Chinese talk show about news analysis. This program aims to dig events behind the news and meet people's rising need to further understand the news events through the conversation, discussion and comments on a news event from anchormen and news-analyzing men. News analysis has received much appraise from audience and set a watching record at night programs since its launching.In recent years, the talk show on news analysis has also blown a gust of whirlwind on mainland TV screen. These kinds of programs has been appearing from CCTV to local TV station and gained a lot of success. But because of its late launching mainland programs still face many problems when compared with news analysis which has flourished for several years, but it still has much room to develop.Then, what is on earth leading to the success of today's news analysis? What are its features and the secrets to its lasting popularity? In which direction will Chinese talk show programs on news analysis develop? These questions are what the author wants to explore into. In this paper the author will take the first talk show program on news analysis"current events analysis"as the case for analysis. The author will analyze its features and find out the secret of its success based on the comparison between current events analysis and other such kind of programs., at the same time explore into a question in which direction the Chinese talk show programs will develop.In the perspective mentioned above, the author will discuss and analysis from five different parts. Because talk show program on news analysis is combined with news analysis program and talk show program, so the first part will review some researches done by domestic experts and scholars on news analysis program and talk show program. In this part the author will discuss its shortage, build a relevant theoretical framework and give the concept of tall show program on news analysis. The second part puts emphasis on its launching and development of current events analysis from Phoenix Satellite TV and such programs on mainland. The third part analyses its elements and features of current events analysis. The fourth part is the most important one, in this part the author compares two programs --- current events analysis and mainland talk show programs on news analysis which were launched after March, 2008. Through the comparison among the subjects choosing subjects discussion and media environment the paper explores deep into the success of this program. The last part is an extension of the analysis on"current events analysis"program. It is also the real goal of this research --- in which direction Chinese talk show programs on news analysis will develop.In this paper, the contents are arranged appropriately in order to help express the theme in case of discussing all the parts so the theme can't be emphasized.
