A Narrative Analysis Of The News Network Talk Show "Big Walking"

From the perspective of narratology,this paper uses a comprehensive method of quantitative statistical analysis and qualitative inductive analysis to take the "Bao Zou Big News Event" as an example to analyze the narrative characteristics of this kind of program.According to the theory system of narratology,the author divides the content into two major areas:"sound" and "view",and concept them into two major branches of "verbal symbol" and "nonverbal symbol" using the semiotics.It is concluded that online news talk shows such as "Bao Zou Big News Event" are based on the domestic and foreign news,taking a basically fixed narrative structure,offering extensive narration of the core news' auxiliary events in breadth and depth,promoting healthy and positive values while ridiculing.In addition,these programs focus on a combination of "sound" and "view",often use heading and overlooking as their main shooting angles,use close shot and medium shot as their main shots,to create an equal posture to narrow the distance with the audience.Based on the research results,this article enriched the theories of TV narratology,radio and television journalism,and provides reference materials to conventional media workers,in order to promote development of the industry.
