As the key components of information acquisition system, the sensor is the main aspect of modern measurement and automatic control. The traditional electromagnetic voltage sensors currently used have the danger of cutting off and short cutting of the secondary circuit, the magnetic saturation. These deficiencies not only reduce the detection sensitivity of the sensors but also result in the whole detection system failures. So urgently need a new kind of detective device without electromagnetic induction. The optical fiber voltage sensors use light as a signal carrier and have good electric insulation performance, without electromagnetic, high bandwidth, small sizes, etc. The optical fiber voltage sensors have high application value.This dissertation designed the optical fiber voltage sensors simulate system. The Pockels effect of BGO crystal which is used as sense organ was studied. In order to solve optical path disturbance and temperature stability problems, double optical path compensation and software amendments methods have be proposed. This dissertation presents a new method which is improved thresholding function in wavelet domain for software amendments based on conventional wavelet thresholding denoising method.The research suggests that the simulate system of this optical fiber voltage sensor has good stability and sensitivity. The double optical path compensation method can eliminate the various disturbances of optical path, the temperature drift of photoelectric detector, and get a useful signal after modulation for sensor. The noise part of signal was well inhibited, the signal is very smooth and has a good signal to noise ratio by using of the improved wavelet thresholding function. Through the MATLAB simulation, the results show that software compensation method can improve the denoising effect and enhance the optical fiber voltage sensor system performance.
