So, making full use of advanced automation technology can enhance the production efficiency and meet the market demand, maintain the leading position in the competitiveness of enterprises, and achieve the greatest possible profits.Tobacco companies require a higher degree of automation. First of all, the productivity is crucial for the enterprises, and the entire system stability and fault detection and exclusion are also important for the enterprises. Stop for one minute can bring enormous loss. So, domestic and international advanced design idea and method are used in this paper, and the advanced and sophisticated hardware and software equipments are used in the whole system.Shandong Rebirth Tobacco Ltd with total investment seventeen million yuan lies in Yishui Shandong Province, and occupies 310 acres, and the production capacity is 2 thousand tons per year and its paper-making tobacco sheet plays the role of guidance and model in our country. The technology of paper-making tobacco sheet is the world's most advanced tobacco renewable technology, and is an advanced technology of both environmental protection and social and economic benefits social and economic benefits.The most advanced computer technology, PLC technology, network technology, communication technology, fieldbus technology, distributed / centralized control technology, fuzzy PID control are used in the system. This paper mainly accomplished several tasks described as follows.1. Set up the system network, use NetLinx system of ControlNet, DeviceNet and Ethernet / IP three-tier network architecture.
