The Research On The Implementation Of OTA System Based On Java EE Platform

OTA is a technique used to manage the data and applications of SIM card through mobile networks. Now, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom have provided OTA services to their users. In the future, 3G networks will provide users with network services with high speed and high quality, so that the downloading services based on OTA will get more development. Based on the background above, this paper shows a new solution for OTA system based on Java EE platform. And this solution can be provided to developers of OTA platform as reference to improve developing efficiency. This will have a positive influence on the popularization of OTA services.Java EE is a standard system which uses Java platform to develop enterprise web application. It's a developing platform with good stability, openness and security. Framework is important software reuse technique in Java EE. And framework technique can raise developing efficiency. Now, many popular open source frameworks provide software developers more options. Combining the design philosophy of multitier architecture in web application system, this paper will research Spring, Struts and Hibernate frameworks on the basis of analyzing and comparing several popular Java EE frameworks. This paper will also analyze the role of the frameworks in the different tiers of web application, and give a detailed description of the method of integrating the three frameworks. Based on the research above, the paper designs an appropriate implementation scheme of OTA downloading system. By using layered structure, this scheme make the system have a clear architecture and definite functions. The user interface, business logic and data storage are separate, and these layers are independent of each other, so that the low coupling of different layers is implemented. The combination of Spring, Struts and Hibernate can give full scope to their advantages, reduce the complexity of development, improve developing efficiency and software quality, and improve the maintainability and expandability of software system.Combined with the OTA downloading system, this paper discussed how to develop enterprise application system with Spring, Struts and Hibernate frameworks. The design philosophy and software development method are applicable to most of enterprise applications. Thus, this paper may serve as a reference for the development of enterprise application systems based on Java EE platform.
