The Research And Implement Of Office Automation System Based On Workflow

Workflow technology is one of the system technologies that attract most software development engineers and customers, and it is widely applied in various types of OAS(Office Automation System)development now.First of all, the thesis introduced the concepts of Office Automation, development of the status quo at home and abroad and its related technologies. Then the thesis analysis the workflow technology, which is the key technology of office automation system, expected to have a whole recognition of OA and workflow, Next to on basis of comparing the most popular OAS develop platforms and analyzing the function needs of OAS, this thesis pointed out that Lotus Domino/Notes is the most suitable platform for OAS development. According to the model of WfMC(Workflow Management Coalition), this thesis analyses the characteristics and workflow mechanism of Lotus Domino/Notes, sums up the layout and application methods in this circumstance. Considering the ability of process description, this thesis presents a new process definition model which use only one design element, and presents the complete definition of this process definition model. Finally, in accordance with model of Client/Server with a platform of Lotus Notes design of the public security office automation systems development model, architecture, function modules, database structure and system security design and implementation of the design.The thesis presents some valuable trials for improving flexibility, security and applicability of the Office Automation Workflow System. These design methods are applied in the Public Security Bureau OA system, and have achieved good results, And also have some reference value in developing Workflow Management System which process high dependability,flexibility and adaptive.
