IDE interface is a standard modality of interface between host and hard disk. It also be used more and more in the data transfer between host and high-powered MSF. The design of solid-state IDE interface based on FPGA, which uses a high-powered FPGA CMOS-chip made by Altera company, realized a host adapter of IDE interface. The design has brought forward an engineer scheme of solid-state IDE interface based on FPGA. Using the Quartus exploitation settings, the design, emulation and debugging of a solid-state IDE interface is achieved, grounded on a modularized design method of systemic chip.This thesis includes the analysis if ATA/ATAPI-6 protocol, module construct and realization, and the debugging method of embedded logic analysis. The experiment results reveal that the IDE interface based on FPGA can realize the instruction transmission and data transmission control between the FLASH storage array and the computer host. And it also realized the data transmission correctly.The realization of the IDE interface supplied a standard form of interface for the FLASH storage array. It makes the data transmission between the FLASH storage array and the computer more expedient, and also makes the FLASH storage more universal.
