In recent years, smart home appliances, home networking, intelligent home has been used widely in people's lives. High-quality, automation, intelligent, practical, convenient and centralized control is being become the long-term researching goal of the of household appliance remote control system in smart home.This paper introduced embedded technology,RFID and Sensor technology into the household electrical appliance remote control system. The paper is discussed according to the following sections:Based on the analysis of similar system both at home and abroad, this paper describes a kind of household appliances remote control system through telephone-lines. Mainly introduces the hardware electrical circuit and software designing process of the system. This system adopts ARM as its main part of controlling to deal with the important information processing, receive external operational orders to form various controlling signals and accomplish the recording of various information. The interface electrical circuit provides the connection between the ARM and telephone chunk line. The system contains the bell detecting, electronics switch control, Dual Tone Multi Frequency(DTMF) decode and coding and the electrical current for voice reminder. This system is connected to the two ends of the telephone, thus not interrupting the normal uses of the telephone. The users can dial this telephone from another set, obtaining ringing signals from the Programme-controlled telephone system. Upon inspecting that the ringing has reached the designated times, this system will be able to choose whether to turn on or off the controlled household appliances and return to original state after completing the operation.The system is practical, functional and flexible, easy to use, it has been widely used in the remote control of household appliances or the various control equipment of other places. The system has a certain advance, good practicality, reliability and scalability. The system has broad applying prospect.
