With the explosive growth of the digital information and the individual and the organization of these ever-increasing dependence on information,storage systems is becoming the center of the entire information system,data has become the most important assets,and storage systems as a data storage and are the protection of the last line of defense of the data;Moreover,the memory system from a local direct connect to the network and the distributional direction,and by network in multitudinous computer sharing,thus causes the memory system to become the change to come under the attack,the relative static memory system often becomes aggressor's first choice goal,achieved these goal of steals,the interpolation or the destruction data,therefore the data protection importance increases.In this paper,for the data of large growth brings storage issues,studied the market is now more popular several modes of network storage:Network Attached Storage,Storage Area Networks and IP storage,as well as the basis of these types of models:Direct Attached Storage.Analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each mode,and the application environment of their.On the basis of analyzing the network storage technology,have a great deal of research on the security threatened about current prevalence of network storage technology,Network Attached Storage,Storage Area Networks and IP storagesecurity.According to different safety issues the corresponding security measures.By the research of the security issue about network storage model,we can see that encryption is to ensure that the storage data security of the last line of checkpoints.In the final chapter,analysis and study of several commonly used types of cryptographic algorithm,as well as the characteristics of these encryption algorithm.On the basis of those,we chose suitable algorithm-encryption for encryption the stored data——AES.It is a block cipher algorithm for packet length of 128bit,key length of 128bit,192bit,256bit.As the packet length and key length than the existing length of block cipher algorithm.AES algorithm have a greatly enhance on the security.This paper analyzes the process of AES encryption,decryption and key expansion.Studied the encryption/decryption principles of the AES,as well as realization on the 32-bit platform.we have done a great deal of research work about AES.We improve the S-box,reduce the Round function,combined the both of improve means.on the basis of the improve means,we have an experimentation,and by the experimentation we can see that the encryption algorithm's security and efficiency have a improve.
