This paper analyzes the principle of several kinds of laser range finders that currently in use,such as pulse laser measurement,phase laser measurement,trigonometry laser measurement and feedback laser measurement.Meanwhile,the technological advantages and disadvantages of these laser range finders are discussed in detail.Then ranging techniques of pulse laser measurement are mainly introduced and studied.The optical part of Pulsed semiconductor laser measurement system consists of telescope sub-system,laser emitter sub-system,laser receiver sub-system and data show sub-system.These four sub-systems are discussed in detail as well as the application of Pulsed semiconductor laser measurement system.Pulsed semiconductor laser measurement system mainly consists of laser emitter, laser receiver and time measurement cell.In order to improving the ranging precision of pulse laser,it requires that the laser emitting pulse with narrow pulse width,high energy, fast converting velocity of measurement pulse and wide bandwidth of receiver,and also the improved precision times of TOF.In the laser emitter system,specific laser diode and high-powered driver chip are used to generate pulse of high quality for ranging signal.In the laser receiver system,low noise APD and high_bandwidth amplifier are use to obtain useful signal.As the problems which are brought by the inherent feature of single-chip,a laser measurement system based on TDC is worked out by integrating the high performance of TDC and the strong control of single-chip.The kernel of this system is the use of TDC-GP1 which miniaturizes the circuit system effectively,improves the reliability,flexibility and adaptability of the system,and shortens the research and development cycle. |
