Reflecting the integrity of media industry, the holistic listing of publishing industry represents a change from operating assets separate listing to bundled listing with editing assets, that is meaningful to the media reform in China. Media reform which is to solve the management issues and operational problems is developing in depth at the present stage.Taking the holistic listing and capital operation of publishing industry as the research object, this thesis places them into the framework of media reform in China to discuss. The results of publishing industry's listing is verified by analyzing the model of holistic listing, as well as media ownership, operational efficiency and market performance after listing, also the problems of publishing industry's capital operation and the developing way in future are summarized in this thesis. Back to the framework of media reform, this thesis puts forward the new paths and propositions on media reform in China.This thesis focuses on three issues. First, this thesis analyzes the model of publishing industry's holistic listing. Beginning with the holistic listing of Liaoning Publishing & Media Company, this issue analyzes the change from separate listing to holistic listing, as well as the new game of capital and supervision after listing. Second, this thesis verifies the operational efficiency of publishing industry's listing. This issue analyzes the capital operation of Liaoning Publishing & Media Company, and then compares with Time Publishing & Media Company and Xinhua Media Company in the following areas, the stock equity, the main business and regions, operating conditions and repayment capability. Third, based on previous research, this issue makes a conclusions on the progress of media reform, and the search of the new paths and propositions on media reform in China.
