The commercial application of Internet challenges the traditional data transmission service.The online services which base on real-time multi-media data stream, such as video-on-demand, online broadcast, P2P video share, have become the mainstream of online services. Guarantee the flow of multi-media transmission of real-time has become a hotspot of internet research. Multi-media information requires not only the requirements in terms of interconnection, and the network bandwidth, delay, delay jitter, and other properties but also a clear strict consideration. In the Internet just for data transmission, how to achieve cost-effective quality of service (QoS) guarantee has become an important subject of computer science.DiffServ model in the QoS guarantee model, can supply QoS service effectively and economy in Internet. Its simple and convenient forms of achieving the scalability provide the application with a broad prospect. But with the growing size of network, network applications continue to diversify; QoS services based on the traditional end-to-end IP address and relied solely on client systems on the strategies and algorithms have difficulty in providing a satisfactory guarantee QoS, so it will be difficult to meet The QoS needs of different users. Therefore, how the current router to achieve reliable and efficient, based on group strategy QoS services, is the focus of this paper.Firstly the history of QoS is presented, which include the three modules of QoS service and and the inevitability for the DiffServ replace the other modules. On the base of deep research of the functions of QoS,this paper analyze the frame of the QoS module and the CBQ algorithm.In introducing the model QoS router on the basis of the proposed nested CBQ thinking and design based on the realization of the nesting CBQ router system. Further more, we improve the relative protocol of routing area, propose a new protocol, which can implement the redundancy backup and load-balance for QoS system integrated in router.
